That’s what my co-worker, Ted, said this morning. He’s right. She is punking us. I, for one, am not amused. I guess I should be glad I am not in the Philadelphia area, they got a lot of snow and the roads are bad and schools are closing or delayed there.
There was a little snow on my windshield this morning. It’s really windy and rainy and damp. You can’t carry an umbrella because if you do it will either flip inside out or you’ll be airborne…it’s that windy. The news said gusts of up to 50 miles an hour. I don’t know that we’ll see that here, but it is windy.
My work calendar is free of meetings today, which means I am going to be able to get some of my work done! WHOO HOO!
My evening calendar will also be cleared because I am cancelling practice. The fields will be a mess and I am sure that they won’t want us on them.
The kidlet is home sick today with my parents. He was snurfly yesterday and towards the evening he started to get wheezy and tight. He woke up still not feeling well and I am not taking any chances with this damp weather. I don’t want a hospital stay. It’s not like he’ll miss much today, because I just called him off sick and there is a 2 hour emergency weather delay (??) at his school. Not sure what that’s all about, but ok.
