And so yesterday was sad because of Craig’s anniversary, but it was also happy. A co-worker of mine had a healthy baby girl at 9:00 pm last night. Her name is Hanna. I am so excited for her. I can’t wait to meet Hanna :) I love newborns, they smell so good and I love the little noises they make.
It’s hard to believe it’s almost 9 years ago that my son was born. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember the first time I held him and how I instantly fell in love with him and couldn’t believe he was finally here. I remember thinking, OMG, I was partially responsible for creating that little person that has been living inside of me for 40 weeks! Crazy. The sleep deprivation, the breast-feeding issues, changing diapers…all worth it…without a doubt.
Ok, got all nostalgic for a second, sorry. Today is my Friday. I have off tomorrow. I get to spend my day at the kidlet’s school for Earth Day. I can’t wait! It’s supposed to be a beautiful day tomorrow. Last year it was a little chilly and overcast, but it was still fun. I enjoy working with the kids and the other parents who come in to help.
My day is filled with meetings today, which will make the day go by quickly. Fortunately, all my paperwork is caught up, so I won’t leave today feeling like I am going to come back to huge pile of work. My evening is also filled with activities. Two soccer practices and a board meeting. There is also a scout meeting, but I can’t make that one. I’ll have to drop the kidlet off there and then have my parents pick him up for me. Thank goodness they help out or I’d go off the deep end 
I am so happy I have a 3 day weekend! Holla!
