This week has been exhausting.
Last night, my plan was to go test drive the vehicles mentioned in the last post, however I instead got sucked into shopping hell with my friend Stacy. Ew. I dislike to shop immensely. It’s just not my thing. Stacy and I shopped for two hours for something for her to wear to her son’s Kindergarten graduation this afternoon. As much as I detest shopping, I have to say we did have fun. We both tried clothes on and and carried on like ding dongs in the dressing room. We tried on oodles of shoes and strutted around the store like freaks cause we are cool like that.
While we were shopping, the kidlet stayed at home with Stacey’s hubby and their boys. He was in hog heaven being able to play with her boys. They all have a blast together and it’s a bonus that Stacey and I get to be friends too LOL.
This evening is a going away BBQ for me at the home of my current boss. He will be out of town next week on vacation, so he and his wife are hosting this tonight. I am looking forward to the good food and good friends.
Tomorrow the kidlet and I have to clean up the pigsty house. Dear God it’s a mess. This week I have been busy and a bit lazy in keeping up the house. Martha Stewart would not be pleased if she dropped in. Oscar the Grouch would though and I like him better anyway. *snort*
The kidlet and I are headed to Philly on Sunday evening the Lincoln Financial Field for the Eagle’s Kids Club movie night! WHOO HOO! We’ll get to watch Happy Feet up on the big screens in the stadium. I can’t wait! There are also games to play and we’ll get to see Swoop again. The kidlet can’t wait either. I’ll be sure to drag the camera along to snap some photos for sharing.
I am having great difficulty concentrating on work this afternoon. I’d rather be anywhere but here right now…
