Yes, I am referring to myself, thankyaverrymuch.
The kidlet has been fighting a cold off and on since the Saturday before Christmas. He passed it on to me, and I managed to get rid of it, but his has hung on since.
This past week has been very difficult because he’s been up throughout the night coughing and wheezing his head off. Which means nebulizer treatments and no sleep for the momma. Last night was particulary sleepless. He was up so frequently that I think I may have gotten a total of 2 hours of sleep in very small increments at a time. This makes me a not-so-happy-sleep-deprived-chocolate-wanting-bitch. So, if you are in close proximity to me today, try not to talk to me like I am a mentally-challenged two year old or you may walk away from me with a handful of bloody chiclets. If you think I am kidding, by jove, just try me. I’m just saying…
So, this morning I had to call the doctor to make an appointment to get him in and seen. This had gone on long enough. My child is pale to begin with (we are Irish, we can’t help it) but this morning, he was pasty pale…poor thing. I got him an appointment and it turns out he’s got walking pnuemonia…lovely. There goes my mother-of-the-year award (again). They gave me a prescription for zithromax and she said that should clear him up. He’s to continue his nebulizer treatments every four hours along with the antibiotic. Ugh.
I am very glad it’s Friday. I swear if I had to come to work one more day sleep-deprived…
My weekend plans will hopefully not be affected by the kidlet not feeling well…as long as PB is feeling better, then it’s on, whoo hoo!
I need some big strong arms around me just because ![]()

I hear ya sistah….. I hope the kidlet gets better and I will keep everything crossed for the weekend plans! Here’s to the “humming right along covert operation”……..***snickers*** I better be getting a phone call if ya know whats good for ya….. I do drive a big yellow limo and I have been known to have a tiny bit of road rage, and lately some bodies have been seen rolling off of my bus. HONEST OFFICER I DIDN’T DO A THING!!! *wink*
