Will whomever ordered the snow, then sleet, then snow again, then sleet again, then rain please stand up and bend over and let me smack you with the spatula I used to scrape the half an inch of ice off my car…thanks, I feel better now. 

Yes, I used a spatula.  Oh, why you ask?  Because my ice scraper was in my trunk WHICH WAS FROZEN SHUT AND COVERED WITH ICE.  The spatula actually worked rather nicely.  The kidlet looked at me like I just hopped off a spaceship from Mars, but I don’t care, it worked.

While scraping my car with the spatula, I got soaking wet.  I thought my coat was waterproof, apparently not.  My hair was bangin’ before I left the house, now, it basically looks like, well, crap.

My socks got wet.  The left one was soaked, the right, slightly wet.  I am sitting here at work right now with one sock on.  The other one is draped over a box in front of a heating duct.  Have you got a mental picture of that?  Yeah, I am hot, get jealous.

I didn’t go to my class last night.  It was too treacherous out.  Instead, I chose to stay home and clean out my dresser drawers.  I know, exciting, right?  Well, I feel accomplished.  In addition to getting rid of things I no longer wear, I also found something I thought I had lost about four years ago.  I found my other diamond earring!  It was in, of all places, my underwear drawer!  ha ha ha

Four years ago, I thought I lost it down the drain at our old house.  I cried about it, because they were a special gift from the kidlet for Valentine’s day.  Whoa, I just realized something, it’s almost Valentine’s day…that’s weird…sorry, I had an ADD moment.  Anyway, when I thought it was lost, I was really upset.  I still had one, so I wore it in the second hole in my left ear.  I never imagined I would find the other.  And of all places, in my underwear drawer…

My foot is cold, I think I will go see how my sock is drying.
