These last couple of days!
I took off Thursday to stay home again with the kidlet. His fever was still up near the 103 mark and he still had an upset stomach and headache. He rested most of the day, napping off and on. Poor thing.
Friday, his fever was lower. I went to work and he stayed at my parents’ house. When I picked him up after work, his temp was around 99.
By Saturday morning, it was gone. Normal temp! YAY! Just in time for soccer 
The game was awful. I am not sure what happened. Most of the boys looked like they had never played before. I don’t get it. There are a couple kids who really and truly play well, but yesterday, not so much. Part of the problem is they “play” with the ball too much. Try to do too many “fancy” footmoves and they end up losing it. The kidlet scored the only goal in the game. He was frustrated because there were a couple times he sent good passes to someone for the shot and because the receiver was too busy “playing” with the ball, he lost it. One of our major problems too is, most of the kids on the team don’t have strong enough legs to shoot outside the box. Some of them have the power and not the accuracy. The kidlet has a powerful leg (ask my face how it knows that!) and is pretty accurate most of the time. Once the other team figures that out, they play him hard and try to shut him down. He’s forced to pass to another player, and he will, but then we lose it. It’s frustrating.
The field was wet and areas on the sideline were muddy. After the game, I managed to drop my clipboard and player passes in the mud, lovely. I also had my bottle of diet coke in my purse and the lid wasn’t on it correctly and I somehow got diet coke all over the back of my shirt…ew.
The kidlet went to spend the night at MOK’s house so I had the evening to myself. I went tanning and then colored and highlighted my hair. Then I chilled out.
Today I went tanning, did some laundry, picked up the kidlet and came home and lazed around. The kidlet crashed out on the couch and napped…my child NEVER naps…apparently he was up a little late at MOK’s house last night
Now, we are catching up on Top Chef and being lazy!
Seriously, I need some motivation people!
