busy weekend ahead

As usual
But, this one is special. My soccer boys are playing in a tournament, dubbed the Mother’s Day Tournament, and we had a game this evening. We won 4-1 and my boys did me proud. They were awesome out there tonight. They had it together. Three of our regular season boys chose not to play in the tournament, so we were allowed to bring guest players from another team. We picked two boys who had played for us on our indoor team. One of them played goalie for us tonight and did amazing. That kid has no fear and will come out and challenge the players and dive on the ball. The other has become quite an aggressive little field player and had a goal, the final one for us to be exact. MOK scored one and the other two were scored by another player, one on a penalty kick. The kidlet was shut down tonight, lol. They played him pretty hard because they remembered him from another game we played against them and he was diappointed he didn’t score, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. He took six shots on goal, their goalie just knocked them down. He kept on trying, he just couldn’t connect. He did play really hard and had a really nice save when the other team had a direct kick and it went toward him and he knocked it down and cleared it before they could shoot on goal.
They rocked out there tonight. I hope that their heads aren’t too big tomorrow when we face the next team on the docket. They won’t be easy to beat, but I am sure my boys will hang in there.
Sunday, we have two games. If we place well in our division, we may have another in the finals…keep your fingers crossed and send us some good vibes!
I will report back tomorrow ![]()

How did they do today? Perhaps they pulled in a Mother’s Day win or two?
I’m sorry I’ve been missing of late. Did Amber tell you about my father?
