So, Wednesday night, Heather and her kids and me and the kidlet met an old high school friend at Sonic for dinner and to catch up.  Our friend was in from out of town and I am pretty sure he didn’t know what he was in for, LOL!   We had such a blast.  I took my camera of course.  We acted silly as you can see :)   I think the other diners there were convinced that our friend had brought us out from the mental institution :)   HA HA HA!  My ribs hurt so bad from laughing.

I recommend the grilled chicken salad.  It was really good. Oh, and the blackberry iced tea was delish too.  However, they didn’t have Splenda and I had to use the pink crap.  I don’t like the pink crap.  It was still good though.  I also like the hazelnut latte, but it was so flipping hot that I burnt my esophagus on my first sip and had to wait about an hour to drink it again…seriously.  My esophagus is fine…I knew you were all wondering.  ha ha.

It’s funny, the Sonic is in what used to be a cornfield.  And, where we sat, we could see our Alma Mater on the hill.  It made me think, I really wished we had had the Sonic there when I was in high school.  It would’ve been a cool place to hang out on a Friday night with friends.

Speaking of Sonic…does anyone else just love their commercials?  I prefer the ones with the couple…they crack me up.

Thursday, hmmm…what did I do Thursday…hell if I can remember right now.  I am sure I did something, but my brain is mush and I just can’t think.  Seriously, I have been sitting here trying to think what I did on Thursday and for the life of me I can’t remember…apparently it wasn’t very exciting enough to blog about.

Friday is the same…no idea.  Ha ha ha.

Saturday, I went yardsaling with my sister, my mom and the kidlet.  I love yardsaling!  I did well!  I got a brand new mini trampoline aka rebounder for $15.  BARGAIN!  I have been wanting one for a while, but I am too cheap to pay full price.  So, imagine my delight when I spotted that beauty while we were driving by the yardsale.  I barely waited for my sister to stop the car before I jumped out and bounded up the hill to stake my claim on the mini tramp.  It’s not even like I had to…there wasn’t anyone else at the yardsale even looking at it.  I use it when I do the jog/run in WiiFit and it sure does make it better on the joints, yo.  I also got three pairs of wooden plantation shutters for $7.  That’s a bargain right there…those things aren’t cheap.  They are off white, and fit my dining room windows PERFECTLY!  Well, two pair did…I gave one pair to my mom for her bathroom.  They were too small for anywhere in my house.  But, my dining room windows look awesome now with the shutters.  I also got a child/puppy gate and the kidlet got some cds.  It was exciting, don’t let my face fool you!  ha ha

Saturday afternoon the kidlet wanted to swim a little, so we went over to my parents’ house for him to swim.  The water was FREEZING.  He didn’t last long and we came home and um, uh…I think I need Ginkgo Biloba.  I can’t remember shit!

The rest of the weekend is a blur too.  It’s a mix mosh of laundry, cleaning, sending out resumes and making sure the puppy isn’t whizzing or pooing where he isn’t supposed to.  He’s been doing pretty well with going outside.  His energy level is sometimes so exhausting!  OY!  I love it when he’s sleeping, lol!  I knew what I was getting myself into, so I am not complaining.  But, I don’t remember Rudy being such an active puppy…honestly.  Bex is like that toddler from hell…cute as all get out…but when he gets wound up…O.M.G.  And, he likes to wait until Rudy is just chilling out laying on the couch and then he pounces on him and gets him all riled up.  It’s like having a toddler and a ten year old.  I think once he gets all the puppy out of him though, it will be fine.  I just need to get through the puppy stage.  He knows his name, I am working on teaching him to sit and he knows “no no”.  HA HA HA.  Well, he should know “no no”, I say it enough :)

So, that’s pretty much it…well, what I can remember.  Now I need to go visit my buddy Stepher’s blog to report in on who I think “The Mole” is.

How the heck are all of you?

Yanno, I have been trying to get here all day to blog about my awesome weekend, but my boss won’t stop hovering around my desk trying to converse with me about things I just don’t care about.  How rude.

So, the weekend camping trip was an effing blast as predicted.  I left work at 12:30 and picked up the kidlet.  We went to the bank, the “spirits” store and the dollar store to pick up a few last minute things then headed home.  We put the remainder of our camping stuff in the RV and headed out to pick up MOK at his house.

It took us less than an hour to get to the campground.  Traffic wasn’t bad at all, thank goodness.  When we arrived, Scott & Jackie were already there setting up “Camp Gehris”.  They tent and have an awesome set up.  Princess Dorkita likes her way of camping, drive into site, plug in plug and camp :)   HA HA HA!  RVing is just better for the kidlet’s asthma.  And, it’s better for my back, so there.

Jacks and I had to run out to the local grocery store for a few items and the kidlet and MOK hung out at camp with Jacks’ hubby, Scott.  I am pretty sure they chilled in the RV playing playstation (yeah, we took playstation camping, so what???  ha ha ha) until I got back.  On our grocery store adventure, I spotted the Trojan Condom bus (hey, while you’re there, click for a free sample!) driving on Route 78, pretty effing hilarious.  I wish I would’ve been able to snap a picture of it.

We got back to camp and Jacks’ brother and his wife had gotten there and were set up right behind Camp Gehris (I was across the street from Camp Gehris).  I went to the RV and made the boys some sammiches and then we wandered over to the fire ring and all sat around it and chilled out and then crashed a little early.

Saturday morning we were up earlier than I thought we’d be and had some breakfast.  We eventually wandered out to Camp Gehris and chilled.  At some point, Jacks and I wandered down to the showers and cleaned up.  And then it was back to chilling.  Jacks, Brittany, Shelby (those girls are awesome – Brittany is Scott’s sister’s daughter and Shelby is a cousin of Scott and Brittany) and Jacks’ brother and his family headed out to hike at Hawk Mountain while Scott and the kidlet, MOK and I stayed back to chill out.  Scott was cooking chili and I had some kabobs to make for dinner.

It was during this time, while taking my doggus for a walk, that I met Becca (insert Psycho music here).  I was just walking along, minding my own business when she approached me and asked if she could pet Rudy.

From then on, she followed me around and I couldn’t get rid of her.  She kept coming to Camp Gehris and asking if the boys wanted to play and they just wanted to do their own thing.  Then she kept bugging Brittany and Shelby to hang out.  It was crazy.  At one point, Jacks finally told her we were all just chilling and spending time together and she went away for a little while.  She was stalking us, big time.  Eek.

Later on that night around the campfire we were all trying to figure out what the heck “Dutcho” was and decided it was some crazy form of bingo.  We laughed a lot about it.  Then we made smores and eventually we all headed to bed.

Sunday, some of Jacks’ friends stopped by to visit and we took the kids to the pool.  They all swam in the frigid water for about 11 minutes, ha ha ha.  Then we headed back to camp to get ready to make some dinner.  We hung out and ate dinner and made a fire and made smores.  We tried something new with a slice of banana on them, ok, yum!  Awesome!

When it was time to leave Monday, we were all bummed out!  But, we packed up and decided we needed to plan the next adventure soon!  I took lots of pictures of course.  There were lots of laughs and a ton of memories made this weekend.

Oooh, on the way home, we stopped at Cabela’s since it was so close by the campground.  That was something else, let me tell ya.  The boys were ooohing and ahhhing over all the different types of animals on display.  It was crazy!  I have pictures I took there on my flickr, you can click on the side bar over there —–> if ya wanna check’em out

I cannot wait for our next adventure, woo!

So, how was your weekend?

*Thank God it’s finally the weekend and I can get out of town

Last night, Jeff worked my ass out hard on Wii Fit.  He’s brutal.  LMAO!  I did strength training, yoga, step aerobics and hula hooping.  I love that hula hooping.

I also packed the camper and finished laundry.  I only have a few last minute things to put in there after I am done working and then we are outta here!

I am so looking forward to this weekend.  I need some relaxation time and I am gonna get it with some of my favorite peeps.  Jacks and I have been planning this for a long time and we can’t believe it’s finally here!

Yes, I am taking my laptop along…Jacks’ hubbster should be able to get us connected to the ‘net so I can post from the woods and upload pictures.  We are high-tech campers, yo.  I am the only one bringing an RV, they are all tenting.  I like tenting, but it’s better for the kidlet (and my back) to use the RV.  With his allergies and asthma, it’s just better he’s not sleeping in a damp tent on the ground.  And for my precious ass, it’s just better too, ha ha ha.

Ok, that’s a quickie post…I have to get some work done…I will return later at some point…
