so, yeah

I have been slacking.

Friday was so incredibly crazy at work that I had zero energy to come back to blog.  Then, the weekend was busy and well, now it’s Tuesday already!

Friday night I had planned on getting piss drunk, but ended up just chilling out and relaxing and going to bed early.  The kidlet wanted to do some yard-saling Saturday morning and I agreed, but only if we got to bed early.  We did.

Saturday morning, I got up around 6:00 and got ready and did a few things before I woke up the kidlet.  I got him up and moving and we left and headed out yard-saling.  We made out rather well.  I got a brand new pair of shoes for $3.00 and the kidlet got a brand new game for $2.00.  We came upon a flea market at a local church and when we went in, these three little old ladies assaulted us with a giant paper bag squawking “fill it up for a buck”.  We did!  HA HA HA!  I ended up with a brand new (tags still attached) Liz Claiborne purse, a nearly new Tommy Hilfiger purse, 5 little Home Interior porcelain bears (the kidlet wanted to give them to my mother for her collection) and two cute little copper molds (also for my mother from the kidlet).  We made out like bandits!

We left there and headed to our local farmer’s market to pick up some breakfast.  After that, we headed out to the soccer fields to help out with a fun day for the younger kids.  It was damp and windy and I nearly froze my butt off!

We left there and headed home.  My friends were supposed to stop over and bring their camping stuff to put in the camper for our memorial day camping trip.  Due to a fishtank mishap, we had to reschedule that.  Their fishtank, not mine.  Apparently there was a malfunction with their filter and their 55 gallon tank overflowed and they had some rug-sucking to take care of, lol!

Sunday, I took the kidlet shopping and we picked up the Wii.  We played all day!  Let me tell you, I don’t know who is more competitive, me or the kidlet.  We had to move furniture out of the way, we were so into it.  We were having so much fun, the neighbors could hear us and wandered over.  We invited them in to try it out too.  What fun!

I woke up Monday morning sore as hell!  Seriously!  I am still sore today!

Today, I went to work, my computer got all effed up and the bossman sent me home early…gave me a half a day on him.  I am pretty sure he saw how aggrivated I was that I couldn’t get it fixed.  I will try to fix it tomorrow.

When I got home from work, I changed and went to the grocery store (don’t be jealous!) and came home and put everything away.  Damn, I got a lot of groceries!  I put some laundry away, chilled out and then went to get the kidlet.  He was happy to see me and that I didn’t have to go back to work :)  I had to take him to the doctor.

After the doctor’s visit, we headed over to the local video store to rent some games.  I got a sheet of freebie rentals when I bought the system.  After that, I went and baked and we came home.  I got a burst of energy and decided to mow the grass.  It needed it.  My eyes are itching so bad now from it though.  Blah.  I hate it.  I had to take out my contacts before I shredded them.

I am exhausted.  I need sleep…

To my (pretend) boyfriend!

I’ll be back to blog more later…

I can’t believe it’s the first day of May already.  Wasn’t it just Christmas???  Where the hell did April go?

Oy vey.

So, my day…it’s sucking monkey ass right now.  Beginning of a new month means LOTS of reports for me to run.  In the midst of my aforementioned report-running extravaganza, my boss decides he wants a 23 page fax sent…through the effing ancient pulls-five-pages-through-thermal-piece-of-crap fax machine we have.  No problem.  Well, at least until it malfunctioned…that’s when I nearly grabbed chunks of my hair and nearly ripped them out.  I looked a little like Chris Farley in “Tommy Boy”.  I was muttering some very unladylike comments under my breath when the bossman happened by.  I looked at him and said, “You know, you may want to consider purchasing a new fax machine, you know, one that doesn’t suck.”  Thank goodness he’s starting to get my sense of humor and my direct way of telling it like it is…it only took him a year to catch on…

Ok all that ^^^ up there was from earlier this morning…

The rest of the day I was busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest, seriously.  I came home and got changed, went tanning, went to the grocery store to get some fixins for the kidlets lunch he has to pack for his field trip tomorrow.

Now my butt is parked on the couch, holla.
